The <a href=\"http:\/\/appliedsciences.nasa.gov\/our-impact\/news\/announcing-geo-2020-sustainable-development-goal-awards\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"appliedsciences.nasa.gov\/our-impact\/news\/announcing-geo-2020-sustainable-development-goal-awards\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GEO SDG Awards<\/a> recognize the productivity, ingenuity, proficiency, novelty, and exemplary communications of results and experiences in the use of Earth observations to support sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/cirrolytix.com\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"cirrolytix.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CirroLytix Research Services<\/a> was formed to create social impact through big data. Through the application of machine learning, data engineering, remote sensing, and social listening, the Philippines-based data analytics firm hopes to help governments, researchers, non-government organizations (NGO), and social enterprises achieve positive change. The <a href=\"http:\/\/aedesproject.org\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"aedesproject.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Advanced Early Dengue Prediction and Exploration Service<\/a> (Project AEDES) is one of the CirroLytix\u2019s flagship projects developed during the <a href=\"http:\/\/2019.spaceappschallenge.org\/awards\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"2019.spaceappschallenge.org\/awards\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">2019 National Aeronautics and Space Administration\u2019s (NASA) International Space Apps Challenge<\/a>. It combines digital, climate, and remote sensing to nowcast dengue trends and detect mosquito habitats to help pre-empt cases of dengue.
