While the cells have a slight green tint, they are much more like the gray of sunglasses and automobile windows.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWindows, which are on the face of every building, are an ideal location for <a href=\"https:\/\/techxplore.com\/tags\/organic+solar+cells\/\" rel=\"tag\" class=\"\">organic solar cells<\/a> because they offer something silicon can\u2019t, which is a combination of very <a href=\"https:\/\/techxplore.com\/tags\/high+efficiency\/\" rel=\"tag\" class=\"\">high efficiency<\/a> and very high visible transparency,\u201d said Stephen Forrest, the Peter A. Franken Distinguished University Professor of Engineering and Paul G.
