This time, it\u2019s jumping from ticks to people.<\/p>\n<p>According to a report by <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.globaltimes.cn\/content\/1196864.shtml\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><em>Global Times<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, cases of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.firstpost.com\/tech\/science\/tick-borne-virus-spreads-across-east-china-infecting-60-and-killing-seven-so-far-8677501.html\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Severe Fever with Thrombocytopenia Syndrome<\/strong><\/a> (SFTS) virus first appeared in April and since then more than 37 people in East China\u2019s Jiangsu Province have contracted with the virus and 23 people were found infected in East China\u2019s Anhui Province.
