He also admitted to being \u201cbiased\u201d and \u201cgrumpy\u201d in his assessment.<\/p>\n<p>His comments came in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realworldtech.com\/forum\/?threadid=193189&curpostid=193190\">mailing list<\/a> (via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.phoronix.com\/scan.php?page=news_item&px=Linus-Torvalds-On-AVX-512\">Phoronix<\/a>) discussing an article suggesting AVX-512 might not be part of Intel\u2019s upcoming Alder Lake architecture.
