Chemical signals that are released by human eggs can attract sperm, and new work has shown that eggs also use these molecules to \u2018select\u2019 the sperm they want. The findings, <a href=\"http:\/\/rspb.royalsocietypublishing.org\/lookup\/doi\/10.1098\/rspb.2020.0805\">reported in <em>Proceedings of the Royal Society B<\/em><\/a>, showed that eggs also don\u2019t always pick the same sperm; eggs from different women can opt for sperm from different men.<\/p>\n<p><center><\/center><\/p>\n<p>\u201cHuman eggs release chemicals called chemoattractants that attract sperm to unfertilized eggs.
