People, it seems, can\u2019t wait to leave Earth. That\u2019s a good thing for the fledgling space-tourism company.<\/p>\n<p>Virgin (ticker: SPCE) reported $238,000 in first-quarter sales. But sales and earnings don\u2019t matter yet. Virgin is \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.barrons.com\/articles\/virgin-galactic-stock-soars-because-covid-19-cant-hurt-companies-with-no-sales-51585075676?mod=article_inline\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\" >presales<\/a>\u201d at this stage of its life. The company is working with aviation authorities to approve its spacecraft and its plans for ferrying customers to the edge of Earth\u2019s atmosphere. It completed <a href=\"https:\/\/investors.virgingalactic.com\/news\/news-details\/2020\/Virgin-Galactics-SpaceShipTwo-Completes-First-Flight-From-Spaceport-America\/default.aspx?mod=article_inline\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\" >two test flights<\/a> from its New Mexico spaceport in the first quarter.<\/p>\n<p>But sales are coming.
