The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/news\/2020\/04\/22\/second-round-shots-first-coronavirus-vaccine-test-start\/3008506001\/\">second round of dosing<\/a> <\/strong>in healthy Seattle volunteers has now begun.<\/p>\n<p>Without placing too much significance on this, it is a good sign, suggesting that the trial is progressing well and there are no obvious bad side effects from the first round.<\/p>\n<p>Lisa Jackson, senior investigator, Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute, who is heading the study, told <em>USA Today<\/em> that the physicians at Kaiser Permanente\u2019s Vaccine Treatment and Evaluation Unit in Seattle don\u2019t have results from the first round.
