Although we don\u2019t yet fully understand how long the virus confers immunity for, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/docs\/default-source\/coronaviruse\/who-china-joint-mission-on-covid-19-final-report.pdf\">it\u2019s likely\u2014though severely understudied <\/a>\u2014that infected and recovered people already have protective immunity.
