We are talking about a difference of just 15 years. The real question is, is the singularity <em>actually<\/em> on its way?<\/p>\n<p>At the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldgovernmentsummit.org\/\">World Government Summit in Dubai<\/a>, I spoke with J\u00fcrgen Schmidhuber, who is the Co-Founder and Chief Scientist at <a href=\"https:\/\/nnaisense.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AI company NNAISENSE<\/a>, Director of the Swiss AI lab IDSIA, and heralded by some as the \u201cfather of artificial intelligence\u201d to find out.<\/p>\n<p>He is confident that the singularity will happen, and rather soon.
