However, unlike breast and <a href=\"https:\/\/medicalxpress.com\/tags\/cervical+cancer\/\" rel=\"tag\" class=\"\">cervical cancer<\/a> there is currently no national <a href=\"https:\/\/medicalxpress.com\/tags\/screening\/\" rel=\"tag\" class=\"\">screening<\/a> programme for this disease in the UK.<\/p>\n<p>A blood test that detects raised levels of the prostate-specific antigen (PSA) can be used to screen for <a href=\"https:\/\/medicalxpress.com\/tags\/prostate+cancer\/\" rel=\"tag\" class=\"\">prostate cancer<\/a>.
