We seem to have all the major Greek mathematical science.

- The vast majority of “knowledge” collected at Alexandria was people’s mythology. In fact, that collection was the real reason why first Christians, and then Muslims set fire to the Library and the City for that matter. The mythological knowlege was what was mostly targeted. And, despite their best attempts, scholars are able to dig up plenty about the pagan roots of Christianity and Judaism.

Part of the Chrstians and Jewish failure to hide the pagan past was their defences against pagans that their new god is just the old sungods wrapped up in new clothing. When Christians would defend their sungod(Jesus Christ), they’d say, “our sungod has the same attributes yous does.”
