They seem to be on a mad spree to get their hand in as many emerging technologies they can, with their hiring Kurzweil as Director of Engineering, Calico, Google Glass, Google[X], Solve for X, and all this talk of moonshots. Also, funny that one of the execs responsible for Android might actually be leading the development of real androids in the foreseeable future.
