Consider another possibility. With transparency, establish an organization whose goal is to demonstrate a constrained existential threat. That should get people’s attention. The more anxiety one produces, the more the discussion there would be about how real and how possible actual existential threats are. Conduct an actual demonstration demonstrating not an actual existential threat but just something that illustrates the point and we could probably get plenty of publicity so as to get our message across and to hence raise more money.

1. Open a pay pal account and start begging for money.
2. Get enough money to buy influence from corporations and politicians.
3. Use that influence to pass spending legislation on research and development.

Pretty standard. But I would say what would make it successful would be to maintain complete transparency.

I believe this may be true but without the people like Richard Branson on board and a lot of cash. As a specie I think We may be Doomed. And i realy hope not.
