The Facts of the Case:
I think the fact is that: would you help a person who really needs help and who's kind and not bad at all by breaking the rule a little bit.

My conclusions& Opinions:
my opinion is: if i were that teacher, i will give him a C, because, he's from a single parent family,which is hard for him in the first place, second, he has to work to support his family, and that's probably the only reason he can afford the college. So he is working hard for his life.and he's probably a very good and diligent guy. For that, i will give him a C.(Or at least i'll give him a couple days more to finish those assignments.)

Future Scenario:
In this case,we are not very sure about, is that job the only reason make him doesn't have time for his homework .
and the college policy is not flexible. we can just give him a couple of days to make up his homework. Then we can make our final decision on this poor student. that's what policy i am looking forward to in the future
