Homework 6: Question 4

The Facts of the Case: Many states have contradicitng laws, such as in Arkansas laws, it is legal under certain circumstances for a man to beat his wife, bu domestic abuse is a crime.

My Conclusions: These laws should be erradicated, and make Arkansas legal codes more concise.

Future Enviroment: Laws are reviewed to erradicate inconsistencies and contradictions.

Future scenario: Laws such as legal abuse are removed and the code is made more clear and concise.

Homework 7: Question 4

The Facts of the Case: Many pople are screaming for tighter gun control, while others say gun control has been taken too far already.

My Conclusions: Guns are a basic right to protect ourselves, without the government interefering.

Future Enviroment: Guns are not handed out, but gun safety is promoted and gun violence is highly penalized

Future scenario: People are free to protect themselves, and crime is down due to the fact that is is not tolerated in the sense it is now.

Homework 5: Question 4

The Facts of the Case: Companies are using social media sites to get a better understanding of employees and future employees. I have a friend that is applying to be a state trooper, and he was told to clean up his Facebook account before going into the bootcamp.

My Conclusions: Companies should not use social media to spy on employees. Employees should only be evaluated by work related productivity.

Future Enviroment: Employers must ask before attempting to look at a Facebook page, or even social media be kept confidential to the employee, like family or medical history.

Future scenario: Social media is not used by companies to spy on workers, but rather companies watch productivity in the workplace and stay away from personal information, such as social media pages.
